Peru
is a geografically diverse country. It is located in the Pacific coast
of South America. It borders with Ecuador and Colombia to the north, with
Brazil and Bolivia to the east, Chile to the South and the Pacific Ocean
to the west.
It has three natural regions: the Coast, the highlands Mountain Andes,
and the jungle.
The capital Lima is located on the Coast and it is a narrow coastal plane,
mostly desert and crossed by valleys.
The Andes has some points that reach over 6,000 meters of altitude, here
we also find the mining resources of the country: silver, zinc, lead and gold; most of the cattle ranch are also in this
region.
The jungle, is the most extense region with high fertility land and inmense
natural resorces.
